Dawn Pettigrew, Associate
Dawn Pettigrew joined Mabry & McClelland, LLP in December of 2014. Her practice is primarily concentrated in the areas of insurance defense, construction litigation, motor vehicle accidents, and trucking litigation. Dawn has several years of insurance defense and civil litigation experience, and has defended various carriers and municipal organizations in commercial general liability, personal injury and law enforcement liability matters.
Originally from Charleston, South Carolina, Dawn relocated to Florida where she earned her undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from Florida A&M University.
Dawn received her juris doctor from Emory University School of Law as a full Emory Scholar. While at Emory Law School, she received awards and recognition for oral argument and brief writing in moot court competitions and served on the regional and local board for the Black Law Student Association and Emory’s Student Bar Association. Before becoming a member of the Georgia Bar, Dawn worked for the American Red Cross in connection with Hurricane Katrina disaster relief efforts.
When not practicing law, she enjoys travel, attending sporting events and participating in various community organizations.
